OAKVILLE OILERS 2024 SPRING HOCKEY TEAMS
The Oakville Oilers organization is operating four Spring rep teams from April-June for players born in 2014, 2015, 2016 and 2017.
The program follows the principles of the long-term athlete development model with a focus on enhancing each player’s athleticism, technical skill development and tactical understanding of how to play the game. The Oakville Oilers are primarily concerned about the overall development of all of our players. If you’re looking for a Spring program that is chiefly concerned with winning then this is not the program for you.
The Oilers teams will play in the AA division of 3 tournaments throughout April and May.
Each player will receive the following:
- 14 practices/skill development sessions
- Each goaltender will receive 10 semi-private training sessions with Cutting Edge goaltending coach Adrian Volpe
- A minimum of 12 full-ice tournament games with the opportunity to play more depending on how the teams do in each tournament
- Home and Away jerseys
- Home and Away socks
- Pant shell
- Skill development instruction from Instructor’s Perry D’Arrisso and Trent Sheldon
Guest coaching from:
Stefan Legein (assistant coach Spokane Chiefs WHL, former World Junior gold medallist)
Andrew Dovey (assistant coach with University of Toronto men’s hockey team)
Cost: $999 + hst per player
